For a bit more than a year, we maintained a blog detailing the construction process of our house. Since we’ve moved in we felt we should migrate to a different site. We call our place, “Bar J Crazy J Farms.” It’s up to you to determine which one is which!
We first met as co-workers back in 1997. A couple of years later, Jyll changed careers. Then, John moved to a different employer. Our first date was April 14, 2001 – we had dinner at Outback. Prior to that, John did assist Jyll’s co-workers in planning a big 4-0 party by getting her out of the office at lunch. Later that year, at our friend Judy’s going away party – we started seeing each other exclusively.
Fast forward to 2009. John asked and Jyll said “yes” on February 28, 2009. We were married in October 2010. We moved to our dream home in November of 2010.
